Bio‐Inspired Micro‐Fin‐Assisted Multi‐Modal Vascular Intervention
A magnetic guidewire with a micro‐fin–integrated tip is introduced for multimodal cardiovascular navigation. The micro‐fins exploit fluid drag to augment magnetic torque, enabling bifurcation traversal at 15 mT, tolerating 45° misalignment, bidirectional crawling, and buckle self‐correction.

Sea turtle nesting activity along Eglin Air Force Base on Cape San Blas and Santa Rosa Island, Florida from 1994 to 1997. [PDF]
Along EAFB on Cape San BIas, the only sea turtle species nest observed has been the loggerhead turtle. The first green turtle nest documented along the Florida panhandle coast was observed on EAFB property, however (D. Atencio, EAFB, pers.

Reprogrammable Phase‐Transition Composites for Adaptive Dynamic Shape Morphing
This paper reports a bio‐inspired reprogrammable phase‐transition composites that uses the stiffness change induced by reversible solid‐liquid phase transition to program and regulate the material deformation actuated by reversible liquid‐vapor phase transition, thereby achieving adaptive dynamic deformation in a controllable manner, and enabling ...

Progressive changes in coral reef communities with increasing ocean acidification
Ocean acidification from increasing atmospheric CO2 is progressively affecting seawater chemistry, but predicting ongoing and near-future consequences for marine ecosystems is challenging without empirical field data. Here we quantify tropical coral reef

Spatial Dynamics of Sea Turtle Abundance and Shrimping Intensity in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico
In order to examine the scientific feasibility of area closures for sea turtle protection, we determined the spatial dynamics of sea turtles for the U.S. Gulf of Mexico by analyzing National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) aerial survey data in September,
