Current methods overestimate coastal blue carbon potential
Abstract Blue carbon ecosystems buffer climate change via sediment carbon capture, gaining elevation and mitigating sea level rise in the process. Carbon sequestration and accretion estimates share a common methodology, whereby dry masses are converted to volume using densities.

Abstract Tidal wetland reclamation is a widespread anthropogenic disturbance that alters sediment biogeochemistry; however, its impacts on biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) and diazotrophic communities remain poorly understood. Here, we integrated 15N isotope labeling, metagenomic sequencing, and network analysis across a bare tidal flat (B), moderate‐

Abstract Curcumin, a natural plant product derived from Curcuma longa, was assessed as a mitigation technique against the toxic bloom‐forming dinoflagellate Karenia brevis in two mesocosm experiments taking place in 2022 and 2024. In these experiments, curcumin was applied at a dosage of 5 mg L−1 to K.
