Enhanced Search and Navigation on Conversational Speech
2008Huge amounts of conversational speech continually flow through call centers world wide but remain inaccessible. In the context of a French research project, we adapted our industrial search and navigation engine as to be able to process conversational speech. Our full text search engine indexes the transcripts of an automatic speech recognition system.

Continuous speech recognition based on A* search with word‐pair constraint as heuristics

Fast similarity search on a large speech data set with neighborhood graph indexing
2010 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing, 2010This paper presents a novel graph-based approach for solving a problem of fast finding a speech model acoustically similar to a query model from a large set of speech models. Each speech model in the set is represented by a Gaussian mixture model and dissimilarity from a GMM to another is measured with a Kullback-Leibler divergence (KLD).
