Astaxanthin Vesicles Improve Alcoholic Liver Disease Through Oxidative Stress and NF‐κB Inflammatory Pathway

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
Excessive alcohol consumption can induce alcoholic liver disease (ALD), and its pathogenesis is closely associated with exacerbated hepatic oxidative stress and inflammatory responses. AST‐FAV are capable of effectively delivering AST to liver tissues, scavenging excessive reactive oxygen species, and blocking the activation of the NF‐κB signaling ...

Metastatic Cutaneous Adnexal Carcinoma of the Head and Neck With Durable Response to an Aromatase Inhibitor Combined With a Cyclin‐Dependent Kinase 4/6 Inhibitor

open access: yesHead &Neck, Volume 48, Issue 7, Page E70-E75, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Cutaneous adnexal carcinomas are a very rare group of cancers arising from appendageal structures of the skin. More than half occur in the head and neck region. No standard treatments exist for metastatic disease. Methods A 48‐year‐old postmenopausal female presented with an enlarging scalp lesion.

Synthesis, Characterization, Antioxidant Evaluation, Cytotoxicity Studies, and Molecular Docking of Novel Sulfonamide Derivatives

open access: yesJournal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology, Volume 40, Issue 7, July 2026.
A series of novel sulfonamide derivatives (4a–i) were synthesized and characterized. Compound 4d showed significant antioxidant activity, while compounds 4g, 4h, and 4i exhibited high cytotoxicity against ovarian and prostate cancer cells, particularly 4h with a log IC50 of 1.343 µg/mL.

3D‐Printed Structures Versus Drilled Cavities: A Comparison of Microconfinement Methods for Rheological Characterisation of Multicellular Aggregates

open access: yesJournal of Molecular Recognition, Volume 39, Issue 4, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Three‐dimensional (3D) cell culture systems are increasingly recognised as more physiologically relevant models than traditional two‐dimensional cultures, as they better mimic the native tumour microenvironment and enable the study of complex cellular behaviour. However, applying atomic force microscopy (AFM) to these models is challenging due
