Abstract A case is reported of a large sebaceous gland carcinoma of the buttock; this case is unique because of the atypical location of the tumor and because of its large size. The tumor was also the probable cause of a severe anemia. The subject of sebaceous gland malignancy is reviewed and the relative rarity of the lesion noted.
