Chiral Microneedle Arrays With Terahertz Chiroptical Activity With Chiral‐Plasmon‐Chiral‐Phonon Resonance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Microneedle arrays (MNAs) is a rapidly emerging technology with broad biomedical applications in drug delivery and biosensing. With sub‐millimeter dimensions and periodicity, MNAs possess geometries nearly ideal for biomedical devices operating within the terahertz (THz) spectral window.

Some methods for solving boundary value problems for polyharmonic equations

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы
This article consists of three sections. In the first section the concept of Vekua space is introduced, where for elliptic systems of the first order, the theorem on the representation of the solution of a homogeneous equation and the theorem on the ...

The BPS preconditioner on Beowulf cluster

open access: yesRevista de Matemática: Teoría y Aplicaciones, 2009
This work presents the implementation on a Linux Cluster of a parallel preconditioner for the solution of the linear system resulting from the finite element discretization of a 2D second order elliptic boundary value problem.

Azobenzene's Cross‐Scale Optics and Photonics: Molecular Photoswitching, Mesoscopic Material Motions, and Adaptive Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Azobenzene photoswitches translate molecular‐scale E/Z photoisomerization into macroscopic material responses and device‐level photonic functions. This Review highlights how azobenzene research has evolved from molecular photochemistry to photoalignment, mass migration, photomechanics, and heat release, ultimately enabling holography, reconfigurable ...

Gate‐Tunable Floquet Weyl Photon Emission from Topological Dirac Semimetal Cd3As2

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report experimental demonstration of Floquet band engineering in a 3D Dirac semimetal. Circularly polarized light breaks the time reversal symmetry and transforms Cd3As2 into a Floquet–Weyl phase, splitting Dirac nodes into chirality‐opposite Weyl nodes with nonzero Berry curvature.

Treating the Solid Pendulum Motion by the Large Parameter Procedure

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2020
In this paper, we consider the dynamical description of a pendulum model consists of a heavy solid connection to a nonelastic string which suspended on an elliptic path in a vertical plane.

Viscosity Solutions of Nonlinear Systems of Degenerated Elliptic Equations of Second Order

open access: yesZeitschrift für Analysis und ihre Anwendungen, 2000
In this paper, we discuss the viscosity solutions of Dirichiet problem for weakly coupled systems of fully nonlinear second order degenerated elliptic equations. We prove the existence, uniqueness and continuity of solutions by Perron’s method combined with the technique of coupled solutions.

Generating Unconventional Spin‐Orbit Torques With Patterned Phase Gradients in Tungsten Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A key aim in spintronics is to achieve current‐induced magnetization switching via spin‐orbit torques without external magnetic fields. For this, the focus of recent work has been on introducing controlled lateral gradients across ferromagnet/heavy‐metal devices, giving variations in thickness, composition, or interface quality.

Unveiling Exsolution‐Induced Giant Electronic and Magnetic Property Changes in Non‐Stoichiometric Titanate Perovskite Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A giant insulator to metal transition and emergent superparamagnetism are revealed by nanoparticle exsolution in non‐stoichiometric titanate perovskite thin films. By combining transport, synchrotron spectroscopy, and first‐principles calculations, this work reveals how defect reconfiguration and lattice reconstruction fundamentally reshape electronic ...
