Reprogrammable multi‐material smart textiles knitted from liquid crystal elastomer fibers undergo 2D and 3D deformation under thermal and photo stimuli. Circularly knitted tubular structures reversibly contract in radial and axial directions, enabling autonomous climbing, liquid release, and micro pumping.

On the convergence of the implicit iterative line-by-line recurrence method for solving difference elliptical equations [PDF]
In the article a theory of the implicit iterative line-by-line recurrence method for solving the systems of finite-difference equations which arise as a result of approximation of the two-dimensional elliptic differential equations on a regular grid is ...

FREDHOLM AND PROPERNESS PROPERTIES OF QUASILINEAR ELLIPTIC SYSTEMS OF SECOND ORDER [PDF]
For a large class of subsets $\varOmega\subset\mathbb{R}^{N}$ (including unbounded domains), we discuss the Fredholm and properness properties of second-order quasilinear elliptic operators viewed as mappings from $W^{2,p}(\varOmega;\mathbb{R}^{m})$ to ...

Butterfly wing scales are intricate cuticular functional nanosctructures. This perspective suggests that spatially varying material properties, cytoskeletal constraints, and growth‐driven mechanical instabilities shape the resulting nanoscale architectures created from single cells.

We consider weak solutions to the Dirichlet problem for nonlinear elliptic systems. Under suitable conditions on the coefficients of the systems we obtain everywhere H"older regularity on the interior for the gradients of weak solutions.

Ultrasmall Platinum Nanoparticles for Radiation‐Enhanced Cancer Therapy
This work proposes a nanomedicine‐based strategy to enhance X‐ray radiotherapy for cancer treatment. Ultrasmall Pt‐NPs exhibit catalase‐like activity that may contribute to modulation of the tumor microenvironment and amplify interactions between radiation and biological matter, leading to increased DNA damage.

Terminal domains of recombinant collagen‐like silk regulate hierarchical self‐assembly across molecular and material scales. We show that terminal domains of collagen‐like silk enhance triple‐helix stability and drive liquid–liquid phase separation, enabling reversible formation of fibers and self‐healing films.

Nonlinear perturbations of systems of partial differential equations with constant coefficients
In this article, we show the existence of solutions to boundary-value problems, consisting of nonlinear systems of partial differential equations with constant coefficients.
