Disuguaglianze di Harnack alla frontiera per equazioni di Kolmogorov
We describe some recent results on the boundary regularity for hypoelliptic Kolmogorov equations. We prove boundary Harnack inequalities of the positive solutions to Kolmogorov equations vanishing on some relatively open subset of the boundary ...

ABSTRACT Despite growing enrollment of international students in counseling programs, existing research has predominantly emphasized their challenges and adjustment difficulties, with limited attention to their cultural strengths. This critical narrative inquiry study examined how nine international counseling students of color (ICSC) in master's ...

Continuous dependence of solutions to mixed boundary value problems for a parabolic equation
We prove the continuous dependence, upon the data, of solutions to second-order parabolic equations. We study two boundary-value problems: One has a nonlocal (integral) condition and the another has a local boundary condition. The proofs are based on

Analysis of Radial Heat Transfer in Cooled Fixed‐Bed Reactors by One‐ and Two‐Dimensional Models
Exothermic fixed‐bed reactors are analyzed using 1D and 2D models. Radial temperature profiles from the 2D model enable optimization of the 1D approach via adjusted overall heat transfer coefficient. Derived correlations improve prediction accuracy, whereas thermal runaway behavior and model sensitivity are evaluated. ABSTRACT Exothermic reactions in a

Abstract Global energy demand and environmental concerns have intensified the search for renewable and sustainable energy sources. This study thus, focuses on optimizing the transesterification process of waste cooking oil (WCO) using thermally activated basic oxygen furnace slag catalyst calcined at 850°C (BOF 850). The optimization and modelling were

Review of CFD modelling techniques for single‐phase and multiphase flow in static mixers
This review synthesizes computational fluid dynamics (CFD) approaches for static mixers, linking hydrodynamics to pressure drop, particle/droplet distributions, mixing metrics, and heat‐transfer performance to guide modelling choices and design decisions. Abstract Static mixers enable compact and low‐energy intensification.

A perturbative Graetz model describes coupled heat and mass transfer in reactive Couette–Poiseuille flow between parallel plates. Viscous dissipation and heat of reaction produce a small temperature rise, which enhances Arrhenius reaction rates and modestly accelerates axial species conversion in the small‐Brinkman‐number regime.
