Criteria for differentiating microbial-caddisfly bioherms from those of marine polychaetes in a lacustrine setting: Paleocene second member, Funing Formation, Subei Basin, East China

Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology, 2020
Abstract Paleogene carbonate successions from lacustrine basins across East China yield microbial bioherms containing abundant agglutinated fossil tubes. Historically, these have been interpreted as the dwellings of polychaetes introduced by marine incursions.

Bioturbation influence on reservoir rock quality: A case study of Well Bian-5 from the second member Paleocene Funing Formation in the Jinhu sag, Subei basin, China

Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering, 2019
Abstract The bioturbated horizons identified from Member Two of the Paleocene Funing Formation (E1f2) in the Jinhu sag, have not been previously assessed to ascertain their influence on reservoir quality. Owing to that, conventional thin section, pulse decay permeametry, pressure decay porosimetry, Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM ...
