Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Some Oscillatory Criteria for Second-Order Emden–Fowler Neutral Delay Differential Equations
In this paper, by using the Riccati transformation and integral inequality technique, we establish several oscillation criteria for second-order Emden–Fowler neutral delay differential equations under the canonical case and non-canonical case ...

Nonlinear second-order multivalued boundary value problems [PDF]
In this paper we study nonlinear second-order differential inclusions involving the ordinary vector $p$-Laplacian, a multivalued maximal monotone operator and nonlinear multivalued boundary conditions.

Second order cumulants: Second order even elements and $R$-diagonal elements
We introduce R -diagonal and even operators of second order. We give a formula for the second order free cumulants of the square x^2 of a second order even element in terms of the second order free cumulants of

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Second order spiral splines [PDF]
Second order spiral splines are $C^2$ unit-speed planar curves that can be used to interpolate a list $Y$ of $n+1$ points in $\R ^2$ at times specified in some list $T$, where $n\geq 2$. Asymptotic methods are used to develop a fast algorithm, based on a pair of tridiagonal linear systems and standard software.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
