Metabolic and Volumetric Alterations in the Basal Ganglia and the Cerebellum in Dopa‐Responsive Dystonia in Symptomatic and Asymptomatic GCH1 Mutation Carriers

open access: yesMovement Disorders, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Dopa‐responsive dystonia is caused by pathogenic variants in the GCH1 gene. Although its clinical features and reduced penetrance are known, in vivo metabolic and structural alterations in symptomatic (sMC) and asymptomatic mutation carriers (aMC) remain poorly understood.

Unraveling the spatial landscape of dystrophinopathies: a transcriptomic approach to Becker and Duchenne muscular dystrophies

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology, EarlyView.
Abstract Dystrophinopathies are caused by pathogenic variants in the DMD gene, resulting in partial (Becker) or complete loss (Duchenne) of dystrophin. Becker (BMD) and Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) are characterized by progressive muscle wasting, fatty replacement, fibrosis, and loss of function.

A one-sided Prime Ideal Principle for noncommutative rings

open access: yes, 2011
Completely prime right ideals are introduced as a one-sided generalization of the concept of a prime ideal in a commutative ring. Some of their basic properties are investigated, pointing out both similarities and differences between these right ideals ...

Omics Insights Into the Effects of Highbush Blueberry and Cranberry Crop Agroecosystems on Honey Bee Health and Physiology

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Honey bees (Apis mellifera) are vital pollinators in fruit‐producing agroecosystems like highbush blueberry (HBB) and cranberry (CRA). However, their health is threatened by multiple interacting stressors, including pesticides, pathogens, and nutritional changes.

Research on an active fault current suppression strategy for modular multilevel DC transformers

open access: yesZhejiang dianli
The modular multilevel DC transformer (MMDCT) serves as critical equipment in the all-DC systems, where DC fault isolation represents a key technical challenge that must be addressed during system operation.

Hybrid physics–data‐driven modeling for sea ice thermodynamics and transfer learning

open access: yesQuarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, EarlyView.
Icepack–NN, a machine‐learning‐based hybrid version of the sea‐ice column model Icepack, is developed to correct state‐dependent forecast errors arising from misspecified snow thermodynamics, using neural networks applied online within the physical model.

Rings of Invariant Module Type and Automorphism-Invariant Modules [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A module is called automorphism-invariant if it is invariant under any automorphism of its injective hull. In [Algebras for which every indecomposable right module is invariant in its injective envelope, Pacific J. Math., vol. 31, no.

$S$-2-absorbing submodules and $S$-2-absorbing second submodules

open access: yes, 2020
Let R be a commutative ring with identity, S be a multiplicatively closed subset of R, and let M be an R-module. In this paper, we introduce the notion of S-2-absorbing second submodules of M as a generalization of S-second submodules and strongly 2-absorbing second submodules of M. We investigate some properties of this class of submodules.
