A Systematic Comparison of Alpha‐Synuclein Seed Amplification Assays for Increasing Reproducibility
ABSTRACT Seed amplification assays (SAAs) enable ultrasensitive detection of misfolded α‐synuclein across biofluids and tissues. Yet, heterogeneity in protocols limits cross‐study comparability and clinical translation. Here, we review α‐synuclein SAA methods and their performance across various biological matrices.

Paleomagnetic Secular Variation Records From the Post‐Glacial Tahiti Coral Reef
IODP Expedition 310 recovered more than 600 m of Post Last‐Glacial‐Maximum (LGM) coral reef framework rocks from the current reef tract surrounding the island of Tahiti. Six sites (12 holes) were sampled for paleomagnetic studies on the south side of the

What Effect do Unions Have on Wages Now and Would 'What Do Unions Do' Be Surprised? [PDF]
We explore the various claims made by Freeman and Medoff (FM) in their famous book What do unions do? about the impact of unions on wages and update them with new and better data. The main findings are as follows.

Predictive Ability of Plasma p‐tau217 for β‐Amyloid Status: A Prospective Multicenter Study
ABSTRACT Objective Plasma tau phosphorylated at threonine 217 (p‐tau217) measured with fully automated platforms has shown high accuracy for Alzheimer's disease (AD) diagnosis, but real‐world multicenter data remain limited. We aimed to validate the diagnostic performance of p‐tau217 for identifying AD pathology in a real‐world multicenter cohort ...

ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) inflammatory demyelinating syndromes, including multiple sclerosis (MS), aquaporin‐4 antibody–positive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (AQP4 + NMOSD), and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody–associated disease (MOGAD), occasionally overlap.

ABSTRACT Background Cognitive impairment is a common non‐motor symptom in Multiple Sclerosis (MS), negatively affecting autonomy and Quality of Life (QoL). Innovative rehabilitation strategies, such as semi‐immersive virtual reality (VR) and computerized cognitive training (CCT), may offer advantages over traditional cognitive rehabilitation (TCR ...

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ofatumumab in patients with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody–associated disease (MOGAD), and compare it with rituximab. Methods We conducted a single–center, observational study including 22 MOGAD patients treated with ofatumumab and 21 treated with rituximab.

Secular variation over Europe:a new view.
The purpose of modern regional modelling is to describe the geomagnetic field over a restricted region of the Earth, providing a better spatial resolution of the local field for areas of high data density. One currently available method to obtain continuous regional descriptions of main field and secular variation is regularised Spherical Cap Harmonic ...
