Quorum-based secure multi-party computation [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
This paper describes efficient protocols for multi-party computations that are information-theoretically secure against passive attacks. The results presented here apply to access structures based on quorum systems, which are collections of sets enjoying a naturally-motivated self-intersection property.

A Shannon Approach to Secure Multi-party Computations

open access: yesCoRR, 2014
In secure multi-party computations (SMC), parties wish to compute a function on their private data without revealing more information about their data than what the function reveals. In this paper, we investigate two Shannon-type questions on this problem.

Secure Multi-Party Computation with Security Modules

open access: yes, 2004
We consider the problem of secure multi-party computation (SMC) in a new model where individual processes contain a tamper-proof security module. Security modules can be trusted by other processes and can establish secure channels between each other ...
