Decision model for implementing a security information and event management system

open access: yes, 2011
Organizations are aware of the importance of adequate information security due to various reasons like protection of confidential data based on regulations and legislation. On the other hand modern information systems are becoming very complex and vulnerable, which causes the generation of enormous amount of information and events spread over the ...

UV‐Triggered Cascading Degradation of Silicone Elastomer via Self‐Fluoride Amplification

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
UV‐triggered degradable materials offer proficient control of functional lifetime, while having issues with trigger efficiency. This work enhances the UV‐triggered degradation mechanism of silicone elastomer by introducing the UV‐initiated synergetic fluoride self‐amplification. The silicone composite shows excellent mechanical properties and on‐demand

Stacking Interventions Enhances Carbon Removals and Profitability of Livestock Production Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study indicates that stacking multiple interventions aimed at maximising soil organic carbon (SOC) sequestration and enteric methane (CH4) reductions realizes greater abatement and profit do any singular intervention, especially when SOC sequestration accounts for a significant proportion of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) mitigation. Abstract While
