The effects of implicit and explicit security priming on creative problem solving
Cognition and Emotion, 2011Attachment theory is a theory of affect regulation as it occurs in the context of close relationships. Early research focused on regulation of emotions through maintenance of proximity to supportive others (attachment figures) in times of need. Recently, emphasis has shifted to the regulation of emotion, and the benefits of such regulation for ...

Influence of privacy priming and security framing on mobile app selection
Computers & Security, 2018Abstract Mobile apps have the potential to request access to private information. Given the far-reaching negative consequences that misuse of this kind of information can lead to, interventions that may encourage safer app downloading behaviors need to be investigated.

Attachment Security Priming Decreases Children's Physiological Response to Threat
Child Development, 2019Abstract Ninety 6- and 7-year-olds (49.3% White, mostly middle class) from greater Washington, DC were randomly assigned to a subliminal priming condition (secure, happy, or neutral) to determine if attachment security priming decreases physiological, expressive, and self-reported fear reactions to threatening stimuli.

Refined Algorithm for Prime Number Generation in Embedded Security Systems
2011 IEEE Asia-Pacific Services Computing Conference, 2011Large prime numbers are one of inevitable ingredients in the public key crypto-systems. However, the decision of the primality requires significant computational resources. In this paper, we proposed two efficient methods to generate large prime numbers.

Moving Toward a Secure Attachment Style: Can Repeated Security Priming Help?
Social and Personality Psychology Compass, 2008Abstract Despite the abundant literature on attachment processes and the development of a secure or insecure attachment orientation during childhood, it is still unclear whether adult attachment style can be changed through systematic interventions, and if so how the change process works.

Secure attachment priming and outgroup humanization
2018In two studies, we tested the hypothesis that priming secure attachment increases outgroup humanization. In Study 1, security was primed showing pictures suggesting attachment-figures availability. In control conditions, single individuals or landscapes were shown. Participants were n=25 in each condition.
