The Subjective and Objective Monitoring of Sedation

Measuring the degree of hypnosis with simple, valid, and reliable tools allows to monitor the target level of sedation avoiding over- or undersedation. It also facilitates communication between caregivers for the correct application of goal-oriented multidisciplinary protocols of management of sedation, pain, and delirium.
