Association Between Socioeconomic Status and Chronic Diseases Among Middle‐Aged and Older Adults in China

This study of 17,234 Chinese adults aged ≥ 45 found that higher SES, level of education, and urban residence were associated with increased multimorbidity. The findings should be interpreted with caution, as they may be driven by differential healthcare access and diagnosis rather than genuine differences in disease burden.
