The sediment delivery ratio in a small catchment in the black soil region of Northeast China
International Journal of Sediment Research, 2013The black soil region of northeast China, which covers the Provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin and the Inner Mongolia autonomous region with black soil, chernozem and meadow soil, has experienced soil erosion since intense agricultural reclamation began approximately 100 years ago.

Analysis of sediment sources and sinks based on the
AbstractSediment sources and sinks are an effective reflection of the comprehensive management of soil and water conservation in a watershed. However, human interference has made the sediment transport process in watersheds more complex. Research that distinguishes hillslopes and channels to reveal changes in sediment sources and sinks within a ...

The sediment routing assessment is an important task of the recent research in predicting soil erosion rates and defining different soil protection strategies. A better knowledge of this phenomenon is very useful both to undertake the appropriate sediment management policies and to face the risk connected with river dynamic.

ABSTRACTSediment delivery ratios (SDRs) link soil loss to sediment yields (SYs) of river catchments. At large scales, SDR models rely on simple catchment properties. To assess their sensitivity and uncertainty in European regions, I compiled a sediment database and derived 16 soil loss maps varying the approximation of the factors of the universal soil
