Auto‐Routing Fluidic Printed Circuit Boards

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work introduces (STREAM) software tool for routing efficiently advanced macrofluidics, an open‐source software tool for automating the design of 3D‐printable fluidic circuit boards. STREAM streamlines tube routing and layout, enabling the rapid fabrication of fluidic networks for soft robotics, lab‐on‐a‐chip devices, microfluidics, and biohybrid ...

A sediment history of sellafiel discharges

Journal of Environmental Radioactivity, 1990
Abstract A suite of artificial radionuclides, discharged from the BNFL Sellafield works into the Irish Sea, has been measured in sediment cores taken from a nearby disused and undisturbed dock basin (Senhouse Dock, Maryport). This has provided a comprehensive record of Sellafield discharges from the early 1960s, including radionuclides for which ...

Estimating Sediment Discharge

2008
Sediment-discharge measurements usually are available on a discrete or periodic basis. However, estimates of sediment transport often are needed for unmeasured periods, such as when daily or annual sediment-discharge values are sought, or when estimates of transport rates for unmeasured or hypothetical fl ows are required.
