Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Effect of sedimentary environment on shale lithofacies in the lower third member of the Shahejie Formation, Zhanhua Sag, eastern China

open access: yes, 2017
Research on shale lithofacies is important for shale oil and gas production. This study focused on the lower third member of the Shahejie Formation ([Formula: see text]) in the Luo-69 well in the Zhanhua Sag, Jiyang Depression, Bohai Bay Basin, eastern ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

The Sedimentary Environment of Current Estuary and Abandoned Estuary at the Modern Yellow River Delta

open access: yes, 2011
Based upon statistics of sediment parameters and sediment moving modes from probability cumulative distribution curves, and combined with topography and hydrodynamics, the sedimentary environment at the intertidal flats of Qing 8 estuary (1996-now) and ...

New sedimentary unit with subaqueous facies of Curitiba Sedimentary Basin, Southern Brazil [PDF]

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Geology
The Curitiba Sedimentary Basin (CSB) is a small and shallow sedimentary basin, which is part of the Continental Rift of Southeastern Brazil. New exposures allowed for the identification of a subaqueous facies association, named Guatupê Unit, within the ...

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Distribution of Trace Elements, Sr-C Isotopes, and Sedimentary Characteristics as Paleoenvironmental Indicator of the Late Permian Linxi Formation in the Linxi Area, Eastern Inner Mongolia

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, 2020
The Late Permian on the periphery of the Songliao Basin, eastern Inner Mongolia, is an important hydrocarbon source rock system. Its sedimentary environment plays an important role in the evaluation of hydrocarbon prospects in the area.

Clay Mineralogical Analysis of the Paleo-Environment: Sedimentary Environment of the Kuruma Group

open access: yes, 1998
Clay mineral assemblage reflects sedimentary environment such as difference of source materials, sedimentary temperature, and depth of deposition. Sequential clay mineralogical analyses of fossil free stratum give constraint on depositional environment ...
