A Hydrodynamic Bioreactor for High‐Yield Production of Extracellular Vesicles from Stem Cell Spheroids with Defined Cargo Profiling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study harnesses hydrodynamic flows to generate, confine and stimulate stem cell spheroids, enabling the large‐scale production of extracellular vesicles (EVs). This innovative method not only streamlines spheroid formation and subsequent EV release in a single, integrated process, but also ensures the generation of EVs with enhanced biological ...

ENHANCEMENT OF ZINNIA SEED GERMINATION AND SEEDLING EMERGENCE THROUGH MAGNETIC SEED STIMULATION

open access: yesActa Scientiarum Polonorum: Hortorum Cultus, 2016
Poor seed germination is a main hindrance to the commercial cultivation of Zinnia (Zinnia elegans Jacq.). Seed enhancement is a useful strategy to improve germina-tion of major agronomic and horticultural crops.

Seed quality and storage performance in mungbean and peanut : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirement for the degree of Master of Agricultural Science in Seed Technology, at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
Five seedlots of mungbean and three seedlots of peanut were assessed for seed quality using six standard laboratory tests ie. purity analysis, seed moisture content, germination, seed health, and two vigour tests (accelerated ageing, and conductivity ...

Novel Antifungal Scaffold Targeting Tubulin Overcomes Sclerotinia Sclerotiorum Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Addressing pesticide resistance, novel chromone‐acylhydrazone hybrids targeting fungal tubulin are synthesized. Compound G24 potently inhibited S. sclerotiorum (EC50 = 0.21µg mL−1) and demonstrated enhanced field performance via microencapsulation, offering a sustainable strategy against resistance and for global food security.

Analysis of the Factors Affecting Germination of Cnidium monnieri Seeds and Its Endogenous Inhibitory Substances

open access: yesPlants
Cnidium monnieri is a valuable functional plant with significant potential for green pest control. However, its large-scale application is limited by its low and uneven seed germination in fields. To determine the factors that affect the germination of C.

Domestication of Tartary Buckwheat Shaped a Regulatory Module for Seedling Salt Tolerance by Targeting the Magnesium Transporter Gene FtMGT2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Domestication of Tartary buckwheat is selected for a salt tolerance mechanism involving the magnesium transporter FtMGT2. Its expression is controlled by the FtAGL16‐FtMYB15L module, which is stabilized under salt stress through a competitive interaction that blocks its degradation by the E3 ligase FtBRG1, ultimately boosting Na⁺ efflux and plant ...
