Low‐Dimensional MOF Nanoarchitectonics: Progress in MOF‐2D Material Hybrid Architectures for Energy Conversion and Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review highlights the integration of metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and two‐dimensional (2D) materials through dimensional interface engineering. By addressing intrinsic limitations like poor conductivity and agglomeration, these hybrid architectures optimize interfacial charge and mass transport.

Light‐Controlled Exposure of Cancer Cells to Reactive Oxygen Species Using Organic Semiconductor Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Spin‐coated films of the conjugated polymer F8T2 (poly (9,9‐dioctylfluorene‐alt‐bithiophene)) generate superoxide at the film‐medium interface, enabling precise delivery of reactive oxygen species (ROS) as visible‐light “ROS patches.” Coated surfaces drive rapid, localised cytotoxicity in MCF7 cancer monolayers under white light, providing a reagent ...

A Comprehensive Review of Waste‐Derived Materials for Solar Still Performance Enhancement

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Solar desalination reduces energy use and produces freshwater sustainably, but its productivity is limited and cannot meet rising demand. Thus, solar desalination system improvements are sought to boost water productivity. Waste materials are abundantly available and burden the environment, making them low‐cost enhancers for solar desalination

Lattice Structures for Bone Replacement: The Intersection of Bone Biomechanics, Lattice Design, and Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This review outlines how understanding bone's biology, hierarchical architecture, and mechanical anisotropy informs the design of lattice structures that replicate bone morphology and mechanical behavior. Additive manufacturing enables the fabrication of orthopedic implants that incorporate such structures using a range of engineering materials ...

Variability of morphological characters of Adenocaulon adhaerescens (Asteraceae) in a secondary distribution range

open access: yesСоциально-экологические технологии, 2019
To control the dispersal of invasive species and reduce the damage from the introduction of undesirable plants into the natural plant communities, it is necessary, first of all, to conduct an inventory of the alien flora fraction and investigate the ...

Grass seed production

open access: yes, 1949
Good grass seed crops can be grown throughout most of California. At present there are 585,000 acres of irrigated pastures in the state and after the various statewide irrigation projects are completed, this acreage may double. The demand for seed of grass-s adapted to irrigated pasture seedings has increased steadily each year.

Anti‐PD‐1 Nanobody‐Armored MSLN CAR‐T Therapy for Malignant Mesothelioma: Preclinical and Clinical Studies

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel therapy using engineered immune cells (NAC‐T cells) showed promise for refractory malignant mesothelioma. Based on the encouraging preclinical data, the first‐in‐human trial is initiated, demonstrating tolerable safety and promising anti‐tumor activity (ORR 63.6%, DCR 100%, including one CR).

Study results of lentil varieties (Lens culinaris Medic.) in the Cis-Urals of the Republic of Bashkortostan

open access: yesЗерновое хозяйство России
Lentil is a valuable legume, widely spread throughout the world. In the Republic of Bashkortostan, agricultural producers do not have much interest in cultivating lentil due to its low productivity, primarily due to the insufficient number of varieties ...

Divergent Responses of Bacterial Communities to Permafrost Degradation and Their Associations With Carbon Across Vertical Profiles

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Bacterial α‐diversity decreases, but stochasticity and community stability increase across the 15 m‐depth vertical profiles and along the degraded gradient within the active layer. The abundance and interaction of core taxa mainly control community stability in the active and permafrost layers, respectively.
