The influence of cellular seeding density in the microencapsulation of hybridoma cells

Journal of Biomaterials Science, Polymer Edition, 2005
The aim of this study was to assess the influence of different seeding densities on the function of hybridoma cells (clone 1B5, IgG 2alpha) producing an anti-angiogenic monoclonal antibody (mAb), microencapsulated using a high-voltage electrostatic field.

Optimizing seed rate and stem density for seed potato production

The Journal of Agricultural Science, 1985
Previous investigations (e.g. Bates, 1935; Singh, 1952; Bremner & Taha, 1966; Sharpe & Dent, 1968) established that increase in the size of potato seed planted and decrease in inter-sett spaoing increased the number of stems and of tubers, resulting in yield advantage generally, but reduced tuber size in the produce.
