Punch grafting was retrospectively evaluated in patients with chronic lower leg ulcers treated at Erasmus MC between 2018 and 2023. Median pain scores significantly decreased after 6 weeks. Opioid use declined and 30% of patients no longer required analgesics. Complete wound closure was achieved in 7% of cases.

Laboratory study on the effects of hydraulic and granulometric parameters on the response of granular soil to internal erosion [PDF]
Erosion is a major environmental problem to agricultural land as well as to civil engineering infrastructures. Rainwater infiltration into granular soils can lead to the migration of fine particles by suffusion.

This study explores the effects of DNOP plasticizer on P(VDF‐TrFE‐CFE) terpolymers, revealing a strong synergy between chemical structure and physical properties. High TrFE bringing natural flexibility and CFE enhancing the plasticizer retention through theorized halogen bonds, ultra‐soft, crack‐free films of high permittivity and softness are ...

Exploring Thermal and Mechanical Strains During Laying Down Process in Fused Filament Fabrication
This study analyzes strain evolution and thermal behavior during FFF of PLA using strain gauges and infrared imaging. Microstrain levels depend on printing conditions, with adhesion‐induced compression during cooling and peak strains in early layers. Microtomography shows minimal porosity, while thermal imaging reveals rapid heat penetration, strong ...
