Seismic fragility analysis of a typical Indian PHWR containment: Comparison of fragility models

Structural Safety, 2016
Abstract The necessity of performing a detailed seismic fragility analysis of nuclear power plant components is well established in the nuclear industry. This paper focuses on the seismic fragility analysis of the primary containment structure of a typical Indian 700 MWe PHWR.

Seismic fragility analysis of 5 MW offshore wind turbine

Renewable Energy, 2014
Considering nonlinear soil–pile interaction, seismic fragility analysis of offshore wind turbine was performed. Interface between ground soils and piles were modeled as nonlinear spring elements. Ground excitation time histories were applied to spring boundaries. Two methods of applying ground motion were compared.

Seismic fragility analysis of railway reinforced concrete bridges considering real‐time vehicle‐bridge interaction with the aid of co‐simulation techniques

Earthquake Engineering & Structural Dynamics, 2022
Based on past earthquake events, bridges are the most critical and most vulnerable component of road and rail transport systems, while bridge damage is related to substantial direct and indirect losses.

Fragility Analysis and Seismic Record Selection

Journal of Structural Engineering, 2011
This paper explores the influence of spectrum-matched and amplitude-scaled ground motions on the development of fragility functions for structures. The quantification of the influence of these two types of ensembles on ground motions in predicting demands of structural and nonstructural systems is addressed.
