Quarter-wave symmetry based selective harmonic elimination pulse width modulation (SHE-PWM) technique applied to the newly introduced topology; Nested Neutral Point Clamped Converter is presented in this paper. Application of SHE-PWM technique is advantageous, since there is significant decrease in switching frequency and therefore the device stresses.
