Selective harmonic elimination method for unequal DC sources of multilevel inverters

open access: yesAutomatika, 2019
This paper presented an analytical and closed-form solution for the harmonic contents that were injected in the five-level inverters from asymmetrical DC sources or batteries which were suitable for renewable energy sources.

Neutrophil‐Mimetic MRI Enables Ultra‐Early Detection of Vascular Inflammation After Stroke

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, we developed neutrophil‐mimetic MRI probes that detect ultra‐early neuroinflammation following ischemic stroke by targeting E‐selectin. Within seconds of their injection, these microparticles mimic initial leukocyte adhesion to the activated cerebral endothelium.

Archimedes Optimization Algorithm Based Selective Harmonic Elimination in a Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter

open access: yes, 2021
This paper presents the Archimedes optimization algorithm to eliminate selective harmonics in a cascaded H-bridge (CHB) multilevel inverter (MLI). The foremost objective of the selective harmonic elimination (SHE) is to eliminate lower order harmonics by

Selective Harmonic Elimination in a Wide Modulation Range Using Modified Newton–Raphson and Pattern Generation Methods for a Multilevel Inverter

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
Considering the aim of having low switching losses, especially in medium-voltage and high-power converters, the pre-programmed pulse width modulation technique is very useful because the generated harmonic content can be known in advance and optimized ...

Development of an Enhanced Selective Harmonic Elimination for a Single-Phase Multilevel Inverter with Staircase Modulation

open access: yes, 2022
A low device switching frequency is recommended for the operation of multilevel inverters (MLIs) to achieve reduced switching losses. Selective harmonic elimination (SHE) and total harmonic distortion (THD) minimization are the two primary switching ...
