Self-Aerated Flow Characteristics in Wall Region

Characteristics of self-aerated flows in the wall region are studied. The distribution of velocity and air concentration in the wall turbulent zone is studied by dividing the wall turbulent zone into an inner and outer region according to the eddy viscosity distribution. Indexing Gas Transfer in Self‐Aerated Flows

An indexing relationship, used to index and directly compare measurements, is developed for liquid phase‐controlled gas transfer in self‐aerated flows from theoretical considerations. The indexing relation is shown to describe temperature effects as well as existing equations that use fitted coefficients.
