Design analysis of the optimum configuration of self-anchored cable-stayed suspension bridges
Structural Engineering and Mechanics, 2014This paper describes a formulation to predict optimum post-tensioning forces and cable dimensioning for self-anchored cable-stayed suspension bridges. The analysis is developed with respect to both dead and live load configurations, taking into account design constrains concerning serviceability and ultimate limit states.
