Fabrication Routes for Ionic Conducting Fiber Strain Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Ionic conducting fiber strain sensors (ICFSs) offer compliant, textile‐integrable sensing. Thus far, the commercialization of ICFSs has been constrained by fiber fabrication routes. This review provides a fabrication‐centric analysis of ICFSs correlating processing strategies with material properties and scalability.

ON THE STRUCTURE OF SELF-COMPLEMENTARY GRAPHS

open access: yes, 2008
A graph G is self complementary if it is isomorphic to its complement G. In this paper we define bipartite self-complementary graphs, and show how they can be used to understand the structure of self-complementary graphs.

Electrocapillary Modulated Interfacial Tension Amplifies Liquid Metal Transduction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presented an electrocapillary‐enhanced magnetohydrodynamic pumping strategy that harnesses the Lorentz force and interfacial tension modulation of liquid metal droplets to achieve amplified fluidic power. The system enabled low‐voltage, self‐oscillating fluidic transduction with enhanced pressure and flow generation, supporting compact ...

Aspect Sentiment Triplet Extraction with Syntax-Semantics Graph Convolutional Network

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems
In the traditional task of aspect sentiment triplet extraction, existing approaches typically focus on either syntactic or semantic features independently, failing to leverage the complementary integration of these two types of information.

Hybrid Invariant Latent Feature Graph Transformer for Skeleton-Based Human Action Recognition

open access: yesInformation
Skeleton-based human action recognition is an important problem in applied vision systems, yet many existing approaches depend on a single skeleton descriptor or a single feature-learning mechanism. This restriction can weaken the representation of local

Structure‐Guided Dynamical Mechanics in Bioinspired Double Twisted Laminated Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores a dynamic mechanistic study of crack propagation and puncture testing via real‐time monitoring of crack initiation, propagation, and termination through nature‐inspired single and double twisted architectures fabricated from cellulose nanocrystals.

Triangles in self-complementary graphs

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Theory, Series B, 1973
AbstractIt is shown that the number of triangles in a self-complementary graph with N vertices is at least N(N − 2)(N − 4)48 if N ≡ 0 (mod 4) and at least N(N − 1)(N − 5)48 if N ≡ 1 (mod 4), and that this minimum number can be achieved.

Conformational Switching of Proteins on Material Surfaces Enabled by Peptide‐Oriented Adsorption

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Responsive biointerfaces could be achieved using conformationally responsive proteins; however, their interconversion can be lost upon surface adsorption. Herein, we demonstrate that the incorporation a Au binding peptide into calmodulin allows for binding control on Au wherein the protein retains conformational switching. This capability was confirmed
