Investigation on pad′s conditioning technology and improving self-conditioning of fixed abrasive pad

open access: yesJin'gangshi yu moliao moju gongcheng, 2017
The surface features of abrasive pad deform during chemical mechanical polishing and as a result the polishing ability of the pad is dramatically reduced.Pad conditioning improves the pad surface profile and consequently the wafer profile. In addition,it ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

TESS: Text-to-Text Self-Conditioned Simplex Diffusion

open access: yesProceedings of the 18th Conference of the European Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics (Volume 1: Long Papers)
Diffusion models have emerged as a powerful paradigm for generation, obtaining strong performance in various continuous domains. However, applying continuous diffusion models to natural language remains challenging due to its discrete nature and the need for a large number of diffusion steps to generate text, making diffusion-based generation expensive.

Sapphire machined by SiC assisted fixed abrasive lapping

open access: yesJin'gangshi yu moliao moju gongcheng, 2016
Owning to insufficient self-conditioning ability affected by tiny chip, sapphire lapped by fixed abrasive pad is limited in industry.SiC particles were added to slurry to assist chips in conditioning pad in this study. Two different pads, one containing ...

Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

Study on high efficient lapping of calcium fluoride crystal with fixed abrasive pad

open access: yesJin'gangshi yu moliao moju gongcheng, 2019
The high efficiency lapping of calcium fluoride crystal is the prerequisite of its ultra-precision polishing. Two kinds of abrasives, single crystal diamond and agglomerated diamond were chosen to prepare the fixed abrasive pad (FAP).

Pavlovian conditioning with the internal stimulus effects of intravenous nicotine heightens later nicotine taking with variation by dose and sex

open access: yesScientific Reports
We have previously demonstrated that the interoceptive stimulus effects of intravenous nicotine (0.03 mg/kg/inf) can acquire conditioned reinforcing value through appetitive Pavlovian conditioning.
