Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Self-Consumption and Frequency Reserve Provision With Energy Communities
The increased concern for greener and more sustainable energy has prompted the wide development of local initiatives such as energy communities (EC) in which several users can be gathered to reach more efficient energy usage. This paper presents an optimization method to evaluate the benefits of an EC along two axes: 1) self-consumption of the local ...

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Autophagy in toxicology: self‐consumption in times of stress and plenty [PDF]
ABSTRACTAutophagy is a critical cellular process orchestrating the lysosomal degradation of cellular components in order to maintain cellular homeostasis and respond to cellular stress. A growing research effort over the last decade has proven autophagy to be essential for constitutive protein and organelle turnover, for embryonic/neonatal survival and

The New Spanish Self-consumption Regulation
Abstract The new Spanish Power Sector Law (Ley del Sector Electrico, LSE) 24/2013 regulates self-consumption facilities for the first time, and in particular domestic PV panels. The paper analyzes the approved regulation. It is concluded that energy prices and access tariffs should faithfully reflect actual supply costs, in order not to distort ...

ABSTRACT Objective To explore how cerebral hypoxia and Normal‐Appearing White Matter (NAWM) integrity affect MS lesion burden and clinical course. Methods Seventy‐nine MS patients, including 13 clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) patients and 66 relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients, and 44 healthy controls (HCs) were recruited from ...
