INTERNAL SELF-DETERMINATION AND POWER-SHARING AS A MEANS OF ADDRESSING CLAIMS FOR SELF-DETERMINATION

open access: yesIustinianus Primus Law Review
Shaped by the experiences of the two World Wars, self-determination emerged as a key  element in the maintenance of international peace and gradually acquired its legal and political  framework within the United Nations system, particularly through its ...

LIFE STRATEGIES OF STUDENTS’ SELF-DETERMINATION DURING TRAINING IN HIGH SCHOOL

open access: yesВестник Кемеровского государственного университета, 2013
The paper addresses the concepts of «life strategy», «strategy of self-determination inlife» and related definitions. The problem of typology of people’slife strategies is discussed.

Adenosine triphosphate as a modulator of protein interactions and stability

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ATP is best known as the cell's energy currency, but it also shapes how proteins fold, interact, aggregate and form biomolecular condensates. This review explains the emerging physical principles behind these effects, including weak binding to charged protein regions, magnesium‐dependent behaviour and concentration‐dependent control of protein ...

Purification and preparation of Marchantia polymorpha Auxin Response Factor 2 for phase separation studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe detailed protocols for the purification and preparation of Marchantia polymorpha Auxin Response Factor 2 (MpARF2). This protein is fused to an MBP solubility tag and an mNG fluorescent tag and is purified from Escherichia coli. The presented procedures make it possible to study MpARF2 assemblies, which could arise from phase separation ...

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

Chronobiology of Cancer: How Aging Fuels Oncogenesis at the Molecular Level

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
This graphical abstract illustrates the key biological pathways linking aging with cancer development and progression. In the upper left, cumulative exposure to ultraviolet radiation, toxins, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) causes DNA damage and genomic instability, whereas age‐related decline in repair mechanisms, such as ATM/ATR, BER, and NER ...

Empowering Adult Learning How AI Fuels Progress Across Disciplines and Professions

open access: yesNew Directions for Adult and Continuing Education, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article examines the evolving role of artificial intelligence (AI) as a transformative cognitive partner across educational and professional fields. It explores how AI shifts attention away from routine technical tasks and toward human‐centered skills such as critical thinking, ethical decision‐making, and professional judgment.
