Multimodal Human–Robot Interaction Using Human Pose Estimation and Local Large Language Models
A multimodal human–robot interaction framework integrates human pose estimation (HPE) and a large language model (LLM) for gesture‐ and voice‐based robot control. Speech‐to‐text (STT) enables voice command interpretation, while a safety‐aware arbitration mechanism prioritizes gesture input for rapid intervention.

Dynamics of self-dialogue in the aftermath of trauma: A “fictional dissociation”
In light of the newly developed approach of “Virtual Fictional/Factual Positioning” (VFP), I introduce “fictional dissociation” as a new concept for evaluating “fictional positioning” and the role of storytelling as a coping strategy in the aftermath of trauma. Traumatic changes can interrupt one’s story and harm or even disconnect self-dialogue.

InnerPond: Fostering Inter-Self Dialogue with a Multi-Agent Approach for Introspection
Introspection is central to identity construction and future planning, yet most digital tools approach the self as a unified entity. In contrast, Dialogical Self Theory (DST) views the self as composed of multiple internal perspectives, such as values, concerns, and aspirations, that can come into tension or dialogue with one another.

ABSTRACT Doxorubicin‐induced cardiomyopathy (DIC) remains a dose‐limiting clinical challenge. This study reveals that cardiac vascular endothelial cells (CVECs) act as initial sensors of doxorubicin cardiotoxicity: circulating doxorubicin activates the cGAS‑STING pathway in CVECs, triggering NLRP3 inflammasome‑mediated pyroptosis and release of ...

Studying dialogue - some reflections [PDF]
YesIn this paper, I would like to share some thoughts provoked by the idea of establishing ‘dialogue studies’ as a distinct academic field, as suggested in the inaugural call for contributions to the new journal. These are not meant to be exhaustive of
