Self-evaluations of antidepressants
Psychopharmacologia, 1974Antidepressant clinical drug trials conducted from 1955–1972 are analyzed to determine the most frequently used patient self-rating scales and to estimate their relative sensitivities (validities). Other analyses suggest how the methodology of the trials may have influenced measurement sensitivity.

In this article we review core self-evaluations (CSE), which refers to deep-seated evaluations that people hold of themselves. CSE is a higher order personality construct comprised of fundamental traits that have an evaluation focus and are broad in scope, such as self-esteem and generalized self-efficacy.
