De l’évaluation à l’autoévaluation : d’un apprentissage défensif à un apprentissage expansif

open access: yesContextes et Didactiques, 2019
Self-evaluation involves making a value judgement of oneself. It also involves accepting to reveal something about oneself. In a school context, this act questions both educational relationship spaces: the level of reception and transmission (Vieille ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Self-evaluation of rater bias in written composition assessment

open access: yesLinguistica, 2014
No assessment is entirely free of bias. This paper presents findings concerning the way raters in the research group evaluate the extent to which they are influenced by various types of rater bias when grading their students’ written compositions.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Academic Achievement of First-year Medical Students using Self-directed Learning with Formative Assessment vs Conventional Teaching Method: A Longitudinal Study [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research
Introduction: The Self-Directed Learning (SDL) approach is an important component of the Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum. However, learning independently can be challenging, even for the brightest and most motivated students ...

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

The Feasibility of Fuzzy Sets Utilization in Quantifying the Results of Company Self-evaluation in Accordance With the EFQM Excellence Model [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Competitiveness, 2011
This paper elaborates on the possibility of utilizing fuzzy set methods in order to quantify the results of company self-evaluation in accordance with the EFQM model criteria.

Preserved self-evaluation in amnesia supports access to the self through introspective computation

open access: yesFrontiers in Human Neuroscience, 2016
Encounters with new people result in the extraction and storage in memory of both their external features, allowing us to recognize them later, and their internal traits, allowing us to better control our current interactions with them and anticipate our
