The suppression of ethanol self injection by buprenorphine
Pharmacology Biochemistry and Behavior, 1983The schedule induced self-injection procedure was used to establish ethanol self-injection in 16 rats. Pretreatment with an injection of 0.3 mg/kg buprenorphine significantly reduced ethanol self-injection in a group of 8 rats. This effect was not found in a second group of 8 rats which received saline pretreatment.

On Self-Injective Perfect Rings
Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1996AbstractLet R be a left and right perfect right self-injective ring. It is shown that if the radical of R is countably generated as a left ideal then R is quasi-Frobenius. It is also shown that the same conclusion can be drawn if r(A ∩ B) = r(A) + r(B) for all left ideals A and B of R.
