A Game Theoretic Interference Management Scheme in Full Duplex Cellular Systems under Infeasible QoS Requirements

open access: yesFuture Internet, 2019
Several emerging mobile applications and services (e.g., autonomous cars) require higher wireless throughput than ever before. This demand stresses the need for investigating novel methods that have the potential to dramatically increase the spectral ...

Single note dissonance through harmonic self-interference [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Student Science and Technology, 2016
In music, dissonance is the unpleasant quality of sound. While dissonance is generally regarded as arising from two notes played simultaneously, low frequency notes sound dissonant when played alone on a piano. I hypothesize that this dissonance arises from the harmonics of the played note interfering with one another.

Natural Products as Geroprotective Modulators in Diabetic Nephropathy: A Mechanistic Framework Integrating Aging Hallmarks and the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 Axis

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Natural products target the aging kidney in diabetic nephropathy by restoring the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 axis, reducing oxidative stress, inflammation, fibrosis, and cellular senescence while enhancing mitochondrial biogenesis and antioxidant defenses.

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Fast Electrical Balance Duplexer Tuning Using Neural Networks for RF Self-Interference Cancellation in In-Band Full-Duplex Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access
In in-band full-duplex systems, the self-interference of radio frequency poses a significant challenge that limits the operational efficiency of modern telecommunications infrastructure.

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

Solving Self-Interference Issues in a Full-Duplex Radio Transceiver

open access: yesProceedings, 2019
Most wireless devices transmit and receive at different spectrum frequency bands. This approach is no longer optimal due to increasing electromagnetic exhaustion. Besides, interferenceamong all present and future working services should be negligible.

The McCance Brain Care Score and Mortality: Evidence From a Large‐Scale Population‐Based Cohort

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives This study aimed to examine the relationship between the McCance Brain Care Score (BCS) and mortality in the general population. Methods We conducted a prospective, population‐based cohort study using data from the UK Biobank. Participants with complete data enabling calculation of BCS and full mortality information were included ...

Age‐Related Characteristics of SYT1‐Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorder

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives We describe the clinical manifestations and developmental abilities of individuals with SYT1‐associated neurodevelopmental disorder (Baker‐Gordon syndrome) from infancy to adulthood. We further describe the neuroradiological and electrophysiological characteristics of the condition at different ages, and explore the associations ...
