SELF RECOVERY AUTHENTICATION OF IMAGES IN THE DWT DOMAIN
International Journal of Image and Graphics, 2005The interest for multimedia contents authentication has recently increased. In particular watermarking-based authentication schemes seem to be offering some advantages with respect to classical cryptography tools (e.g. real content authentication, localization of manipulations, storage format independence, transparency to common signal processing, etc.

Self-recovery control for dependable systems
2013 IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE), 2013The task of managing duty-standby controllers in building a dependable computerised-control system with wireless sensor networks is challenging owing to the scarcity of both information and processing resources. A novel synchronization method for redundant controllers applying techniques from dissipative systems theory is presented in this paper. As an

Self-recovery of stressed nanomembranes
Applied Physics Letters, 2005Long-term stability and self-recovery properties were studied for the compliant nanomembranes with a thickness of 55nm free suspended over openings of several hundred microns across. These nanomembranes were assembled with spin-assisted layer-by-layer routines and were composed of polymer multilayers and gold nanoparticles.

IN two recent communications in Nature1,2, evidence from X-ray photographs was given on the annealing of filed copper powder at room temperature. Similar observations of other investigators were also mentioned (the authors, however, omitted to mention the detailed investigation on the self-annealing of rolled copper by M. Cook and T. Ll.

A New Self-Recovery Technique for Image Authentication
2003In this paper a simple and secure self recovery authentication algorithm is presented which hides an image digest into some of the DWT subbands of the to-be-authenticated image. Authentication is achieved by comparing visually the hidden digest with the image under inspection.

A Self-Recovery Method Based on Mixed Reboot
2009 Fifth International Conference on Autonomic and Autonomous Systems, 2009Microreboot is one of the most efficient self recovery technologies for mission-critical system. But some limitations still exist in the existing microreboot methods such as demand of componentization and loosing coupling etc. In order to eliminate these limitations, we propose a more flexible and usable microreboot method called mixed reboot in this ...

A self-recovery scheme in anti-jamming communications
1996 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing Conference Proceedings, 2002By exploiting the spatial diversity among different signals, anti-jamming communications can be accomplishing using antenna arrays. In this paper, we discuss the self-recovery problem for antenna array wireless systems after the communication link is broken due to abrupt environmental changes.

A Watermarking Method for Digital Speech Self-Recovery
IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing, 2015Authentication and tampering detection of the digital signals is one of the main applications of the digital watermarking. Recently, watermarking algorithms for digital images are developed to not only detect the image tampering, but also to recover the lost content to some extent.

Nursing standard (Royal College of Nursing (Great Britain) : 1987), 2013
People living in the community with mental health problems often have difficulty accessing psychological therapies. Nurse consultant Steve Cottrell has designed an online interactive treatment that has helped thousands of people with stress, anxiety and panic disorders to develop their own self-recovery skills.

Genetic micro-rollback self-recovery synthesis
Proceedings of the 1999 Congress on Evolutionary Computation-CEC99 (Cat. No. 99TH8406), 2003Self-recovery micro-rollback synthesis (SMS) has currently become an important issue in high level synthesis. The problem of SMS combines the problem of functional unit scheduling and assignment with the problem of checkpoint insertion and microprogram optimization. It has been shown that these problems are NP-complete.
