The Lamperti transformation for self-similar processes [PDF]
In this paper we establish the uniqueness of the Lamperti transformation leading from self-similar to stationary processes, and conversely. We discuss alpha-stable processes, which allow to understand better the difference between the Gaussian and non ...

Self-similar Gaussian Markov processes
We characterize all multi-dimensional real self-similar Gaussian Markov processes. Three types of covariance matrix functions occur: white-noise type functions, covariances that can be expressed by continuous matrix semigroups, and covariances based on ...

Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

A fully flexible ion‐gel‐gated graphene‐channel transistor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator enables self‐powered tactile sensing and synaptic learning. Mimicking spike‐rate‐dependent plasticity, the device exhibits frequency‐selective potentiation and depression, supporting rate‐coded neuromorphic computation even under flex.

A note on self-similarity for discrete time series [PDF]
The purpose of this paper is to study the self-similar properties of discrete-time long memory processes. We apply our results to specific processes such as GARMA processes and GIGARCH processes, heteroscedastic models and the processes with switches and

Inverse Design of Amorphous Materials With Targeted Properties
AMDEN is a diffusion model framework for the inverse design of amorphous materials with targeted properties. By incorporating Hamiltonian Monte Carlo refinement into the denoising process, the framework overcomes the challenge of generating thermally relaxed disordered structures.

Elephant‐skin‐inspired crack networks are programmed in porous diatomaceous earth (DE)‐cement composites using substrate‐guided, stress‐concentration induced fracture. The resulting crack lattices act as capillary conduits that redistribute water, while the porous matrix stores moisture.

Self similar stochastic processes
The thesis is concerned with the development of a representation and the behaviour of self similar stochastic processes, and for the testing of a Gaussian sequence with finite variance for self similarity.
