Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

On D-branes in Type 0 String Theory

open access: yes, 1999
Using boundary states we derive the presence of (chiral) fermions on the intersection of type 0 D-branes. The corresponding anomalous couplings on the branes are then computed. Furthermore, we discuss systems of branes sitting at $A_n$ singularities.

BMI‐1 modulation and trafficking during M phase in diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The schematic illustrates BMI‐1 phosphorylation during M phase, which triggers its translocation from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. In cycling cells, BMI‐1 functions within the PRC1 complex to mediate H2A K119 monoubiquitination. Following PTC596‐induced M phase arrest, phosphorylated BMI‐1 dissociates from PRC1 and is exported to the cytoplasm via its

Spin and energy evolution equations for a wide class of extended bodies

open access: yes, 2004
We give a surface integral derivation of the leading-order evolution equations for the spin and energy of a relativistic body interacting with other bodies in the post-Newtonian expansion scheme.

Dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH) regulates trophoblast syncytialization through organelle stress–induced cellular senescence

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The inhibition of mitochondrial dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH) impairs syncytialization and induces cellular senescence via mitochondrial and endoplasmic reticulum stress in human trophoblast stem cells, elevating sFlt1/PlGF levels, a hallmark of placental dysfunction in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.

The presentation of self in the age of ChatGPT

open access: yesFrontiers in Sociology
Contemporary debates about artificial intelligence (AI) still treat automation as a straightforward substitution of human labor by machines. Drawing on Goffman’s dramaturgical sociology, this paper reframes AI in the workplace as supplementary rather ...

Anchorage‐independent and faster growth in clonal population from UV‐irradiated NER‐deficient cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UV‐irradiated cells expressing a DDB2 mutant protein unable to interact with PCNA (DDB2PCNA‐) form clones able to grow without anchorage. Different experimental approaches reveal heterogeneity in cell cycle regulation and drug response within these clones, emphasizing the crucial role of the DDB2‐PCNA interaction in preventing cellular transformation ...

The Czech version of the Over-claiming Questionnaire (OCQ) – The transfer of method and the pilot study [PDF]

open access: yesE-psychologie, 2017
The authors describe a development of the Czech version of the Over-claiming Questionnaire (OCQ) in relation to the work of Delroy Paulhus. First, the authors created the longer version (OCQ-150) and subsequently the shortened version (OCQ-100), which ...

Digital twins to accelerate target identification and drug development for immune‐mediated disorders

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Digital twins integrate patient‐derived molecular and clinical data into personalised computational models that simulate disease mechanisms. They enable rapid identification and validation of therapeutic targets, prediction of drug responses, and prioritisation of candidate interventions.

THE ROLE OF STEREOTYPES IN THE DISCOURSE OF SELF-PRESENTATION IN FRENCH PERSONALS

open access: yesВестник Кемеровского государственного университета, 2013
The articles focuses on the analysis of the personals found in French newspapers and Internet sources. The role of stereotypes in the production of the discourse of self-presentation is studied.
