A recurring theoretical focus in risk and safety research is the analysis of certain concepts of special interest (e.g. the concepts of risk, safety, and hazard) and how they are related. Together, related concepts form networks sometimes referred to as ‘semantic fields’. In this paper, the semantic field of risk is identified and analysed.

Semantic Segmentation With Light Field Imaging and Convolutional Neural Networks
IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2021Semantic segmentation is of great importance and a challenge in computer vision. One of its main problems is how to efficiently obtain rich information (geometric structure) and identify useful features from higher dimensions.

This paper offers a reflection on the nature of language and modes of visualizing it, and then presents the content analysis software Evoq©z. We intend to reconceptualize language. Based on post structural and phenomenological inspiration, language is not viewed as a means of communication that the speaker can completely master. Rather, it is viewed as

In the session entitled "New frontiers for logic and uncertainty by the semantic field," the new notion of semantic fields for modal logic is introduced, by which a degree of significance can be assigned to any possible world. Available information is the main source of the significance that shows the logical structure of the information itself.
