Learning Highly Dynamic Skills Transition for Quadruped Jumping Through Constrained Space

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A quadruped robot masters dynamic jumps through constrained spaces with animal‐inspired moves and intelligent vision control. This hierarchical learning approach combines imitation of biological agility with real‐time trajectory planning. Although legged animals are capable of performing explosive motions while traversing confined spaces, replicating ...

Grounding Large Language Models for Robot Task Planning Using Closed‐Loop State Feedback

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
BrainBody‐Large Language Model (LLM) introduces a hierarchical, feedback‐driven planning framework where two LLMs coordinate high‐level reasoning and low‐level control for robotic tasks. By grounding decisions in real‐time state feedback, it reduces hallucinations and improves task reliability.

Semantic area optimization method with Dynamic Graph Neural Network for cross-modal image matching

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal
Cross-modal image matching is essential for autonomous driving and medical imaging, yet it confronts modal heterogeneity, redundant computation and dynamic interference.

Improving the Robustness of Visual Teach‐and‐Repeat Navigation Using Drift Error Correction and Event‐Based Vision for Low‐Light Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Visual teach‐and‐repeat (VTR) navigation allows robots to learn and follow routes without building a full metric map. We show that navigation accuracy for VTR can be improved by integrating a topological map with error‐drift correction based on stereo vision.

A procedure for Web Service Selection Using WS-Policy Semantic Matching [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Advances in Computer Engineering and Technology, 2020
In general, Policy-based approaches play an important role in the management of web services, for instance, in the choice of semantic web service and quality of services (QoS) in particular.

Continual Learning for Multimodal Data Fusion of a Soft Gripper

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Models trained on a single data modality often struggle to generalize when exposed to a different modality. This work introduces a continual learning algorithm capable of incrementally learning different data modalities by leveraging both class‐incremental and domain‐incremental learning scenarios in an artificial environment where labeled data is ...

A Sentence-Matching Model Based on Multi-Granularity Contextual Key Semantic Interaction

open access: yesApplied Sciences
In the task of matching Chinese sentences, the key semantics within sentences and the deep interaction between them significantly affect the matching performance.

S-Match: an Algorithm and an Implementation of Semantic Matching [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We think of Match as an operator which takes two graph-like structures and produces a mapping between those nodes of the two graphs that correspond semantically to each other. Semantic matching is a novel approach where semantic correspondences are discovered by computing and returning as a result, the semantic information implicitly or explicitly ...

Multimodal Human–Robot Interaction Using Human Pose Estimation and Local Large Language Models

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A multimodal human–robot interaction framework integrates human pose estimation (HPE) and a large language model (LLM) for gesture‐ and voice‐based robot control. Speech‐to‐text (STT) enables voice command interpretation, while a safety‐aware arbitration mechanism prioritizes gesture input for rapid intervention.

A SURVEY ON OPTIMIZATION APPROACHES TO SEMANTIC SERVICE DISCOVERY TOWARDS AN INTEGRATED SOLUTION [PDF]

open access: yesICTACT Journal on Soft Computing, 2012
The process of semantic service discovery using an ontology reasoner such as Pellet is time consuming. This restricts the usage of web services in real time applications having dynamic composition requirements.
