Applying interest operators in semi-fragile video watermarking

open access: yesSPIE Proceedings, 2005
In this article we present a semi-fragile watermarking scheme for authenticating intra-coded frames in compressed digital videos. The scheme provides the detection of content-changing manipulations while being moderately robust against content-preserving manipulations. More generally, we mean by content-preserving manipulations those, which are applied

A Restorable Semi-fragile Watermarking Combined DCT with Interpolation

Lecture Notes in Computer Science, 2014
In this paper, a semi-fragile watermarking with interpolation method is proposed to improve recovery performance with less recovery watermark capacity. The original image is 2-fold down sampled to reduce the watermark payload and DCT (Discrete Cosine Transformation) is calculated on each 4 × 4 block in the down-sampled image.

Semi-fragile digital audio watermarking

open access: yes, 2013
The digital information has brought many changes to our life in recent decades. With the rapid growth of digital information, a lot of new techniques are coming into being. Digital watermarking is one of them. This thesis presents a semi-fragile audio watermarking scheme which can be applied to content authentication or copyright verification.

Holographic semi-fragile watermarking combined with asymmetric crytography

open access: yes, 2008
A semi-fragile watermarking technique, with a Computer Generated Hologram (CGH) coding system of the mark, is introduced and tested. The CGH watermarking is used for image authentication. The hologram of the mark is embedded in the spatial domain by a blind additive embedding technique.

Reversible Semi-Fragile Authentication Watermark

Multimedia and Expo, 2007 IEEE International Conference on, 2007
Reversible semi-fragile authentication watermark (RSAW) is required in an integrated and powerful authentication system. An effective RSAW scheme should have the desirable features: tamper detection and localization, good perceptual invisibility, detection without requiring explicit knowledge of the original image, robustness against lossy compression,

Semi-fragile watermark for sensor data

International Journal of Internet Protocol Technology, 2011
This paper proposes a novel semi-fragile watermarking technique for sensor data. The proposed watermarking technique embeds the secret watermark in the order of the data readings rather than the data values themselves, thus, does not cause distortion to the transmitted data values. Transmitted data readings are organised in groups of fixed length.

Semi-Fragile Watermarking Based on Image Gradient

2008 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security, 2008
Semi-fragile watermarking which is robust to given operations and fragile to conscious operations, is a useful authentication technique for digital media. In this paper, a novel semi-fragile image watermarking algorithm that accepts gradient sharpening is proposed.

A Semi-fragile Watermarking Tolerant of Laplacian Sharpening

2008 International Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering, 2008
Semi-fragile watermarking technique which aims to discriminate malicious manipulations from admissible manipulations, is drawing many attentions in image authentication. In this paper, a novel semi-fragile image watermarking algorithm that accepts Laplacian sharpening is proposed.
