A wavelet-based semi-fragile watermarking with recovery mechanism
2008 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2008This paper studied the wavelet transformation based watermarking tamper detection and recovery scheme. By the property of discrete wavelet transform, we design the semi-fragile watermark from low-frequency band and embedding the watermark into the high-frequency band by the help of human visual system (HVS).

Semi-fragile watermarking scheme for authentication of JPEG images
International Conference on Information Technology: Coding and Computing, 2004. Proceedings. ITCC 2004., 2004With the increasing popularity of JPEG images, a need arises to devise effective watermarking techniques which consider JPEG compression as an acceptable manipulation. In this paper, we present a semi-fragile watermarking scheme which embeds a watermark in the quantized DCT domain.

Semi-fragile Watermarking Based on Dither Modulation
2004In this paper, a semi-fragile watermarking algorithm is proposed to prevent images from being altered, based on dither modulation and linearity of discrete cosine transform (DCT). As the algorithm transforms DCT coefficients in spatial domain using dither modulation and the linearity of DCT, it embeds watermarking information very fast without DCT. The

Semi-Fragile Watermarking Based on SVM for Image Authentication
Multimedia and Expo, 2007 IEEE International Conference on, 2007A novel semi-fragile watermarking scheme based on support vector machine (SVM) for image authentication is proposed This scheme first gives a definition of wavelet coefficient direction tree, then the relation model between the root node and its offspring nodes is established using SVM, and further watermark is embedded and extracted based on this ...

Permutation-Based Semi-Fragile Watermark Scheme
IEICE Transactions on Fundamentals of Electronics, Communications and Computer Sciences, 2005Tamper proofing is a crucial problem in the watermarking application. Aiming at the credibility of multimedia, we present a semi-fragile watermark based on the image permutation. Watermarking detection is performed without resorting to the host image and it is only controlled by secrete keys, thus the whole scheme does not have certain security gaps ...

A semi-fragile watermarking system for MPEG video authentication
IEEE International Conference on Acoustics Speech and Signal Processing, 2002Video authentication is expected to prove the integrity of the content. Common authentication techniques do not allow any form of manipulation, thus making it impractical for some applications such as transcoding. In this paper, we shall propose an authentication scheme which can survive the bit-rate-conversion transcoding methods by using public ...

Semi-fragile watermarking for image content authentication
Proceedings 7th International Conference on Signal Processing, 2004. Proceedings. ICSP '04. 2004., 2005In this paper, we propose a quantization-based semi-fragile watermarking algorithm for content authentication. The watermark can be blindly extracted. The formulation of judge threshold is given from the point of probability theory. The tempered areas of watermarked image can be distinguished by the predefined threshold.

Content-Adaptive Semi-Fragile Watermarking for Image Authentication
2007 14th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems, 2007This paper presents a content-adaptive semi-fragile watermarking method for image authentication. The method is based on the semi-fragile watermark of Lin, Podilchuk, and Delp. However, the proposed method adapts the strength of the watermark and the detector type according to the content features of the image. Simulation results show that the proposed

Multipurpose Semi-Fragile Watermarking for Image Authentication
Second International Conference on Innovative Computing, Informatio and Control (ICICIC 2007), 2007In this paper, we propose a new scheme in image authenticating and recovering using block-related index and three types of coefficient-scan strategy. Block-related authenticating information makes the feature codes tolerant in compression processes. Besides, a block-classification method is used for classifying blocks into flat, vertical-detailed or ...
