Watermarking schemes are traditionally classified into two classes, robust watermarking and fragile watermarking. Recently a third type of watermarking called semi fragile watermarking has been proposed. Using semi fragile watermarking a user can determine whether the image is tampered with or not for individual applications.

In this paper, an efficient semi-fragile watermarking scheme for color image tamper proofing and high-quality recovery is proposed. The scheme is efficient because the validity of image blocks is simply proofed by using a dual-option parity check method and morphological operations.

In this paper, we present a semi-fragile audio watermarking technique which embeds watermark in the discrete wavelet domain of an audio by quantizing the selected coefficients. The quantization parameter used in the algorithm is user-defined. Different value of the quantization parameter affects the robustness of the watermark.

A Novel Semi-Fragile Document Watermarking Algorithm

A novel document watermarking algorithm is proposed. In this algorithm a watermark is embedded into a WORD document by modifying the font color attribute. Experimental results show that this algorithm has good perceptual transparency, large capacity and security. It is robust to format change attacks and the WINRAR compress attack.
