Dynamic Analysis of Semi-Rigid Frames [PDF]
The dynamic response of semi-rigid frames is studied by using a computer program. The connection flexibility is modeled by linear elastic rotational springs. Having the same geometry and cross-section; semi-rigid frames, with different spring coefficients, are examined.

Although molecular docking has evolved dramatically over the years, its application to glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) has remained challenging because of their intrinsic flexibility, highly anionic character and rather ill-defined site of binding on proteins.

Structural Performance of Semi-Rigid Connection Steel Frames
In most engineering designs, steel connections are usually considered as fully rigid connections or perfectly pinned connections, for simplicity of design work. In reality, this assumption is incorrect.

Dynamic Analysis of a Large Deployable Space Truss Structure Considering Semi-Rigid Joints
Joints are widely used in large deployable structures but show semi-rigidity due to performance degradation and some nonlinear factors affecting the structure’s dynamic characteristics.

Location of semi-rigid connections effect on the seismic performance of steel frame structures
In design steel frames, combining semi-rigid and rigid connections can result in better structural performance, particularly in seismic locations. In this study, the effects of semi-rigid beam-to-column connections located on the seismic performance of ...

Matrix formulation of dynamic design of structures with semi-rigid connections [PDF]
The structures with semi-rigid connections comprise systems with the connections in joints which are not absolutely rigid, but allow, in general, some relative movements in directions of generalized displacements.
