Visual modulation of vestibular‐evoked balance response disturbed by posterior cortical atrophy
Abstract figure legend Summary of key findings. (A) Effect of vision on balance responses to vestibular stimulation in controls. Mean galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVS)‐evoked response time‐course is shown without and with vision, illustrating how visual input ‘dampens’ the balance response.

ABSTRACT The nasal cavity of European hedgehogs (Erinaceus europaeus) harbours a well‐developed olfactory system, essential for food provision and communication. Additionally, it acts as a first line of defence by preventing pathogens and irritants from reaching the lungs, thereby playing an important physiological role.

Adult Case of Congenital Intratympanic Membrane Cholesteatoma
ABSTRACT Intratympanic membrane cholesteatoma (ITMC) is a rare type of cholesteatoma located within the tympanic membrane. Surgery is a treatment option if the ITMCs do not spontaneously disappear. Transcanal endoscopic ear surgery is anticipated to become the standard approach in the future.

Organic electrode materials are considered the next generation of battery electrode materials due to their environmental friendliness, low toxicity and competitive specific capacities. Herein, we report on a systematic study of processing of the redox polymer poly(3‐vinyl‐N‐methylphenoxazine) (PVMPO) using water processable binders, achieving ...

Female patients exhibited longer BPPV durations and greater dizziness‐related distress compared to male patients. Recurrent BPPV was more prevalent in females, who also reported higher levels of physical distress. Additionally, patients with cupulolithiasis had significantly higher emotional and functional DHI scores than those with canalithiasis ...
