Frequency stabilization of an ultraviolet semiconductor disk laser [PDF]
We report a tunable, narrow-linewidth UV laser based on intracavity second-harmonic generation in a red semiconductor disk laser. Single-frequency operation is demonstrated with a total UV output power of 26 mW. By servo-locking the fundamental frequency to a reference Fabry-Pérot cavity, the linewidth of the UV beam has been reduced to 16 kHz on short

1043nm semiconductor disk laser
SPIE Proceedings, 2010A 1043nm semiconductor disk laser with a diamond heatspreader is presented. 880mW continuous-wave output power is produced using a 3% output coupler with the incident pump power of 5900mW. The slope-efficiency is 16.7% and the optical- to-optical conversion efficiency is 14.9%. The effect of the diamond heatspreader on the laser is also analyzed.

Ceramic Tm:Lu2O3 Disk Laser Pumped with a Semiconductor Disk Laser
We demonstrate the first Tm-doped Lu2O3 ceramic laser utilizing disk geometry in the design of the active element. The ceramic 2-µm disk laser is pumped within the high-Q cavity of a 1.2-µm semiconductor disk laser.
