(ω-Ammonioalkyl)cyclopentadienides by Rhodium-Catalyzed Vinylcarbene Transfer to Semicyclic Enaminocarbonyl Compounds

Organic Letters, 1999
The rhodium(II)-catalyzed reaction of vinyldiazoacetate 2 with semicyclic β-enaminocarbonyl compounds 1 provides (ω-(methylammonio)alkyl)cyclopentadienides 3. This transformation represents a novel reaction cascade which combines carbenoid addition at a CC bond with ring-chain transformation.

Two-Dimensional Optical Orthogonal Codes and Semicyclic Group Divisible Designs

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2010
A (nxm, k, ?) two-dimensional optical orthogonal code (2-D OOC), C, is a family of nxm (0, 1)-arrays of constant weight k such that ?i=1n?j=0m-1A(i, j)B(i, j?m?) ? ? for any arrays A, B in C and any integer ? except when A = B and ? ? 0 (mod m ), where ?m denotes addition modulo m.

Ring Transformations of Semicyclic 1,3-Dicarbonyl Heteroanalogs; IV1. Synthesis of 3-(ω-Aminoalkyl)-1,2,4-thiadiazoles by Ring Transformation Reaction of Semicyclic Thioacylamidines with 3,3-Pentamethyleneoxaziridine

Synthesis, 1990
Semicyclic thioacylamidines 1 react with 3,3-pentamethylene-oxaziridine by ring transformation affording novel ω-aminoalkyl-1,2,4-thiadiazoles 5, which are conveniently isolated as hydrochlorides 6. These can be transformed to the corresponding free bases 5, which in one case are methylated at the amino group to give an ω-dimethylaminoalkyl-1,2,4 ...

Lewis Acid-Catalyzed Ring-Opening Reactions of Semicyclic N,O-Acetals

Organic Letters, 2001
[figure: see text] Ring-opening reactions of semicyclic N,O-acetals with various nucleophiles such as silyl enol ethers are effectively catalyzed by a Lewis acid (TMSOTf). Reactions of 3-substituted N,O-acetals showed high diastereoselectivities. Synthetic utility of this method has been demonstrated in the stereoselective synthesis of an anti-malarial

Forcing linearity numbers of semicyclic modules over commutative Noetherian rings

Abhandlungen aus dem Mathematischen Seminar der Universität Hamburg, 2003
Given a module \(V\) over a commutative ring \(R\), a function \(f:V\rightarrow V\) is said to be ``homogeneous'' if \(f(rv) = rf(v)\) for all \(r\in R\) and all \(v\in V\) and \(M_R(V)\) denotes the set of all such functions. Clearly \(M_R(V)\) is contained in \(\text{End}_R(V)\), the set of module endomorphisms on \(V\). This paper looks at how close
